Hosted by the Rose City Rollers, the three-day event will see ARCH competing in a bracketed tournament that features the defending Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) champions, the RCR Wheels of Justice, alongside the primary travel squads from Denver Roller Derby and Montreal Roller Derby as well as a hybrid team consisting of European All-Stars.

In opening-day play Friday at 6 pm Central, the Arch Rival All-Stars, currently ranked fifth internationally by the WFTDA, meets the squad that suffers setback from a match-up held earlier that afternoon between Denver Roller Derby’s Mile High Club and RCR’s Axles of Annihilation B-team.

Friday’s winning results funnel to Saturday’s semifinal match-ups and the event’s title tilt takes place Sunday at 4 pm Central.

The Arch Rival All-Stars (2-0) claimed a pair of victories at their hosted Midwest Derby Ope’N last month. Eye-opening wins over Minnesota (390-16) and Windy City (283-34) presented notice to the derby universe that the St. Louis collective is primed to create havoc within the Throwdown showdown.

Denver is currently ranked fourth in the WFTDA while Montreal is ranked sixth, so seeing four of the top six international teams competing at a singular weekend event provides plenty of intrigue and perhaps provides a glimpse of upper-echelon global play in 2023.
